Grief allows us to venture into a space full of po Grief allows us to venture into a space full of possibilities and creative imagination. The times we live in support our desire to create living pieces of art that help us through the grieving process. And it is a process. After a certain age there is very little room on the wall but we will find a space for Ischa. #firstweeksucksthemost #petloss #petgrief #gonebutnotforgotten #petsarefamily
Dog lovers swipe left. Ischa left the earth on Fr Dog lovers swipe left. Ischa left the earth on Friday in the fashion he lived. He was a spicy boy who did everything on his own time and in his own way. He wasn’t really a cat. He was the king of the castle and he ruled the home. He was not an easy fellow to understand. That ended up being his super power. He was extremely social and loved handbags and shoes. You were allowed to pet him 3 times max. He was my constant companion and my sleep buddy. His love was solid and he made life exciting and unpredictable. His absence is enormous. He has been met by JJ, Stella, Skye and Juno on the other side. He is not alone and he is no longer in a body that stopped being enjoyable. He would still be here I imagine if we had not helped him cross over at his request. We honored his life and his exit as best we could. He is missed beyond words. Godspeed on your beautiful journey Ischa. You are so loved and are a gift to all. In body and now in spirit. It was an honor to know you and love you.

To live with him for over a decade and to love him was a gift. To care for him when he got cancer broke me. But there is a place in us that is never wounded and we build back up from that place. We are new versions of ourselves as they get woven into the tapestry of our lives, forever. We miss him everyday. #petloss #petgriefsupport #pitt #dogrescues #petsarefamily❤️

Healing with horses changed me after the loss of m Healing with horses changed me after the loss of my dog Harleigh. I was gifted the opportunity to sit with 3 amazing beings. It defied words. My heart broke open wider and the grief just flooded in unobstructed by mind. I carried this healing in my heart all my life and can access it anytime. When we heal we do not heal alone. And when we break there is always help and space to be with the pain. Finding a witness within the animal realm works in ways talking fails. #animalsheal #animalloversofinstagram #petloss #grief #petsofinstagram

Having animals, particularly seniors or terminally Having animals, particularly seniors or terminally ill pets, can have you living to the point of tears on a daily, if not hourly basis. It is in the crying where we have given up and allowed ourselves break, for as we know love leads constantly to unceasing forms of heartbreak. And when it comes to our animals, we break differently and harder than with humans. Unconditional love does that. Bless each and everyone of us today as we move forward into a day of not knowing how any of it will work out. We see you and we love you. #sandiegopets #sandiegodogs #sandiegocats #petsofinstagram #pet
